	Aug/28/2008 Event in PARIS from the 7 / 5 / 2008 to the 8 / 31 / 2008 Spanish Night A dose of Hispanic culture Throughout the whole summer, the Petit Palais - Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris will be revealing the world of flamenco, the emblem of Andalusian culture. Flamenco, a legendary popular art, fascinated famous artists such as Picasso, Courbet, Miro, Degas and Man Ray and is the focus of this exhibition, entitled the Nuit Espagnole (Spanish Night). “Nuit Espagnole” brings together over 150 works (paintings, sculptures, costumes, photographs, etc.) which focus on the mutual influences and associations between flamenco and avant-garde paintings by artists during the period 1865 to 1936.
